Since my grandfather, John Lawson, built his first batch system in his garage in 1963, Jonel has been a stable force in the concrete industry. I am grateful to have dedicated 32 years of my life to helping grow this family legacy. Along the way, I have relied on my employees, my family, and above all our loyal customers—many of whom have supported us for six decades. Their commitment and partnership have guided us every step of the way.
The word “family” is not often used in our competitive, fast-paced world, but for me it carries significant meaning. With family comes tradition, high standards, integrity, and, above all, loyalty.
Nearly a decade ago, we began working with Smyrna (SRM) and could not have predicted how it would evolve into such a productive partnership. SRM’s growth over that period has been extraordinary, and Jonel is proud to have earned their trust, contributing faithfully to their mission of becoming the leading concrete supplier in the United States.
It is this shared commitment to core values and personal service that led me to build on my family’s legacy by partnering with SRM. This alliance will also propel us into new and emerging markets where we plan to deploy cutting-edge technology that benefits our industry.
